Craig Wax
Chief Executive Officer
Craig leads Invodo’s overall market strategy, product vision and investor relationships. He brings a seasoned general management perspective to guide the company’s rapid growth.
Craig was most recently the Senior Vice President and General Manager at Match.com, where he was responsible for all aspects of the business including building strategic partnerships, marketing, and product innovation. Prior to Match.com Craig held multiple senior roles at Yahoo!, including launching the business in Australia and New Zealand as managing director. Craig joined Yahoo! from Overture Services (formerly GoTo.com) which was acquired by Yahoo! in 2003. Craig led Overture’s marketing and communication teams and expanded the business across Europe and Asia. During his time in marketing and new ventures at General Mills, Craig helped the company enter the organic space with the acquisition of Small Planet Foods. Craig also worked in sales at Procter & Gamble and began his career at Exxon Company U.S.A. in financial operations and analysis.
Craig is a frequent speaker at industry events such as the National Retail Federation’s Big Show, the Shop.org Summit and Innovation Workshop, and eTail. He is also a regular contributor to Digiday and other industry publications.>
Craig holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with honors and a Master of Business Administration with distinction from the University of Texas at Austin. He also serves on the board of directors of the Texas Lacrosse Alumni Association. He resides in Dallas with his wife and two children.
Trey Swain
President & Chief Operating Officer
Trey oversees the daily development operations and finances of Invodo. His role involves helping the company prioritize and manage internal projects as well as establishing a strong financial track record for investors.
Trey’s 24 years of experience in finance, mergers & acquisitions, and operations provides both operational and financial leadership for Invodo. As founding CFO and eventually CEO for Delinea, Trey led three strategic acquisitions and seed/A funding rounds while growing the technology services company to over $20MM in revenue.
As Vice President of ProNet Trey acquired 22 companies over two and a half years while growing the employee base from 75 to 2,800. Also, as a former CPA with Ernst & Young, Trey’s finance expertise has significantly contributed to Invodo’s financial modeling and fiscal operations.
Gard Mayer
Co-Founder & Vice President of Business Development
Gard focuses on finding new avenues for business growth through strategic partnerships and new sales channels.
As an original founder of Invodo, Gard brings over 14 years of entrepreneurial experience to the company. Previously, Gard founded and operated Smarthockey Inc., where he established the initial manufacturing and distribution relationships as well as management team.
Justin Crandall
Vice President of Sales
Justin leads Invodo’s sales team and is responsible for driving the company’s growth through expanding the client base and revenue, while also retaining existing clients. Prior to Invodo, Justin worked at Bazaarvoice where he opened the UK office and grew Bazaarvoice’s presence there to more than 70 clients and 25 people in the first two years. As Managing Director he launched the brand in Europe, managed the London-based sales team, built partnerships with local ecommerce vendors, and represented Bazaarvoice at several dozen industry events as a featured speaker. While at Bazaarvoice, Justin also launched the Channel Programs initiative through which he worked with Bazaarvoice’s biggest retail clients to encourage vendor participation in social channel initiatives.
Prior to Bazaarvoice Justin worked for Trilogy as a Business Development Manager, and before that he spent time as a Consultant with Deloitte Consulting and as a High Yield Bond Analyst with Franklin Templeton Funds. He holds a BA in Finance from Hillsdale College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Justin and his wife Valerie reside in the hills of Northwest Austin with son Cody who was born in London but left before he picked up the accent, daughter Kyla who is the first native Texan in the family, and their two 90+ pound dogs Cuzco and Simba. Justin’s an avid basketball player when his knees are willing, a golfer when not boycotting the game in frustration, and a green thumb who loves spending time in his yard building decks, gardens, or just mowing the lawn. On weekends you can also find Justin hiking the trails in Austin with his dogs or relaxing with a beer on a lakeside patio somewhere.
James D. Keeler, Ph.D.
VP of Engineering & Operations
Dr. James D. Keeler leads Invodo’s technology team in product vision, research and development. Prior to Invodo, Jim spent ten years at AT&T Wi-Fi Services, previously Wayport, Inc. He organized and executed major capital expansions, growing Wayport to be the largest Wi-Fi services provider in the U.S. with over 20,000 sites and over 100,000 managed network elements. AT&T purchased Wayport in December of 2008. Jim was also responsible for all technology group activities including Engineering, Research, Information Technology and Design, Architecture, and Product Management groups.
Prior to AT&T Wi-Fi Services, Jim was one of five co-founders of Pavilion Technologies, Inc., a spinout of MCC. As the main inventor of Pavilion’s technology, he was responsible for leading the vision, direction and technical staff of Pavilion and held titles including CTO, VP Engineering and VP of R&D.
Jim holds a Post Doctoral Fellowship from Stanford University; M.S. and Ph. D. in Theoretical Physics from the University of California, San Diego; and a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from the University of California, Davis. He resides in Austin, TX where he enjoys enjoy running, hiking, swimming, reading & playing guitar with his wife and two children. In addition, he is a published author and the primary author of 33 US patents.

Scott Rhodes
Vice President of Production
Scott Rhodes leads Invodo’s production team heading the creative vision, process, and execution of Invodo’s content creation and delivery departments.
Scott brings 15+ years of digital interactive experience building national integrated marketing programs for fortune 100 companies. He joins Invodo from Razorfish where he was Group Director for Global CRM Solutions, where he managed the department’s implementation services, strategic partner relations and internal product development.
Prior to Razorfish, Scott held the title of Senior Interactive Producer at McCann Erickson World Group where his work contributed to receiving more national accolades than any agency in the Southeast including OMMA Agency of the year, Cann Cyber Lion short list, Clio, 29 local, regional and national ADDYs, 6 Adobe Site of the Day, 4 Webbys, 2 Commercial Art Awards and 3 NY Festival Awards.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Texas Christian University where he helped start the digital agency VirtuallyThere. He lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and two children. When he’s not coaching his son’s sports or out playing it the Texas hill country, you can usually find him remodeling homes and trying to avoid unscheduled visits to his brother who works as an ER physician.
Russ Somers
Director of Marketing
Russ leads Invodo’s marketing team, managing product marketing and lead generation as well as driving the company’s marketing communications, social media and PR initiatives.
Russ brings industry experience from a number of Internet and technology companies to Invodo. He helped develop SolarWinds’ product marketing function prior to their IPO. At Hoover’s Russ led product and subscription marketing. He doubled the rate of new customer acquisition with targeted product offerings and integrated Hoover’s early entry into social media into the company’s PR and marketing communications strategy. Earlier roles included brand management, pricing and analytics roles at Dell and Sabre Holdings.
Russ holds a Master of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. He lives in Pflugerville, Texas with his wife and two children. His occasional spare moments are filled by reading, playing guitar and bass, and blogging.
